Charlie Is Two!

Charlie turned two on September 9th!  We didn't have his birthday party until September 21st (more on that later), so we just had our families over the night before his birthday so we could do a little celebration.  He really got into opening gifts this year, which was fun to watch.  He had lots of help from his cousins, and especially his brother.

He was funny - every time he opened a gift that needed to be taken out of its package, he went immediately to Grandpa to help him open it.

Then of course we had cake and ice cream.  Turns out Charlie's not quite sure how to blow out candles yet...

It was a nice, quiet night.  A great way to celebrate our big two year-old!
