Tablerock Lake - 2015

The second weekend in July, we took a little trip to Tablerock Lake with the Lades and the Kortes.  We stayed at the Still Waters Resort, which ended up being perfect for our little group.  They had 3 pools, including a water slide, boat docks, and rooms with kitchenettes in them, so we never even left the resort, except when we were out on the lake.

The other two families went down Thursday and spent Friday at Silver Dollar City.  We didn't drive down until Friday morning.  We made a stop at the Bass Pro Shops in Springfield and got Charlie a new fishing rod and bought a tube for the boat.
When we made it to Branson, we went out on the boat to kill time until our friends were back.  As per usual, Charlie took a snooze on the boat.

We spent all of our time either swimming in the pools or taking boat rides.  Friday night they had a movie night at the pool, which the kids got a kick out of.  Saturday we rented two jet skis for a few hours, so everyone had a blast riding on those.  That was a first for Jack and Charlie.  Charlie also had his first tube ride with Daddy (Jack didn't want to try it yet).  Lots of fun in the sun!!

We even got some fishing time in:

The highlight for Jack and Charlie, by far, was the water slide.  The other kids weren't as interested, but the boys wanted to spend every waking moment going down the slide.  I was so impressed how brave they were - going down forwards, sideways, backwards...  They had a ball!

We even went after dark one night...
And on the last day, Daddy even got in on the fun...

We had such a great trip, as evidenced by the exhausted boys on the drive home...

We had so much fun that we came home and booked another trip for next summer.  We can't wait for another fun weekend!
