Jack played on his first baseball team this summer. Most of the boys from his soccer team played together, with a few other new kids to round out the team. The assistant soccer coach, Coach Jared, agreed to coach baseball too. They had a blast!! They started out with practices about a month before the season started, and Jack was getting a little bored, but by the time games started, he loved it! It was coach pitch and through the O'Fallon Community Athletic Club (OCAC).

Jack played really great. He got a ton of extra base hits (even some triples!) and played great in the field too. He made quite a few outs. The highlight was one game where he was playing 3rd base and caught back-to-back pop flies! We were impressed! Of course, the bases were loaded in both cases and he probably could've gotten a double or triple play on the runners who all took off, but that's a lesson for another day. Catching the ball was good enough!!

They ended the season undefeated, with one tie. We were very proud of these boys!!
